Noosphere.org is a project of Shawn Murphy. Previous incarnations of this effort have been called The Idea Engine (TIE) and Prepensi. Those names are defunct and the software is now called Nooron.

• Goodness is Not Enough is a conversational, user perspective on the intended software.
• Essential Elements of Noosphere can be considered a response to Douglas Englebart's Essential Elements of an Open Hyperdocument System
• The Prepensi Whitepaper is a document written in 1995, updated a bit in 2001 and in need of major updating.
• How to Build a Global Brain is a rather freeform (goofy?) piece meant to quickly convey the essential ideas to a broad audience.
